Presenting Ipomoea

We always wecome opportunities to present Ipomoea. Our garden attracts and delights visitors of all ages and provides an ideal space for the general public, as well as other artists, to engage with interactive technologies in an inviting and playful environment. The installation is readily tourable and can be adapted to suit a wide variety of spaces. If you are interested in presenting the installation, please contact the Ipomoea team.

We Provide

• All sculptural elements for Grass, Tree, Fruit, Water, and Stone
• All electronics embedded in Grass, Tree, Fruit, Water, and Stone
• Computers for electronics, lighting, and audio control
• All network switches and cabling
• Majority of power cabling (Edison)

Venue Provides

• Theatrical lighting equipment (LED preferred), and appropriate cables and dimming for non-LED units (no light board required)
• Sound equipment (2 speakers, mixer or audio interface)
• Rigging equipment and assistance with rigging
• May need additional power cabling (edison) depending on scale of venue
• May need additional computers if installation period is longer term
• May provide audio content for Stone if desired (opportunity for collaboration)

Venue Space Requirements

• Discreet control area for main computers
• Ability to suspend lights, Grass pallets, Tree projector and Tree top, Water elements
• Rigging points at least 12’ for Tree and Grass
• Rigging points at least 8’ for Water
• Ability to run power cable to each module and network cables from central control station to each module
